Martín Códax, a Spanish wine deeply rooted in Galicia and the Atlantic, asked us for a campaign to welcome the pilgrims of the ancient Camino de Santiago route. This piece aims to be a poem about the distance between a person and their land and how “they can come back, even when they can’t come back” once they take a sip of Martín Códax.
Martín Codax -
They can come back, even when they can’t come back.
“Here they come! Let the windows open and the light come in. Let it smell fresh. Let them know the 'orballo', and the sun rise. Let the music play, joy shouldn't lack! Let the kitchens be filled, set a table for everyone. Let them repeat and dirty the tablecloths! Let them leave their shame at home. And may they take a piece of the Atlantic with them. So they can come back, even when they can't come back.” - MARTÍN CÓDAX
